MYDAWA PARTNERS WITH AIRTEL TO PROVIDE FAST ACCESS TO MEDICATION
May 2021: Airtel Kenya announces partnership with MyDawa in a move that will provide subscribers with fast access to medication. Airtel’s customers will be able to easily log into MyDawa’s website and mobile app without incurring any data costs. Any purchases made on the platform will also have the option of Airtel Money that users can use to pay for their orders with ease. Moreover, customers using MyDawa will have their purchased medicines and products delivered to them in Nairobi and its environs at no extra cost.
MYDAWA PARTNERS WITH ASTRAZENECA TO INCREASE ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE PRODUCTS IN AFRICA
December 2020: Corporate member MYDAWA and AztraZeneca announced the partnership aimed at contributing towards a future where all people have access to sustainable healthcare solutions for life-changing treatment and prevention. The move will see patients have convenient, private access to AstraZeneca’s innovative products via the MYDAWA platform, with deliveries made by a fully licensed and qualified Pharmaceutical Technologist (Pharmtec) who will also be able to provide advice on AstraZeneca medication administration and adherence.
The partnership will also provide patients with educative information empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their health.
MYDAWA PARTNERS WITH AMREF THROUGH THE AFRIKA PLATFORM
October 2020: MYDAWA launched a partnership with Amref Health Africa in Kenya through their social enterprise Afrika. The partnership seeks to leverage on MYDAWA’s technology and logistics platform making use of Amref Health’s work with youth in the country. The offering will see Kenya’s youth access to health products as well as information on sexual reproductive health and rights, mental health, life skills and productivity in a bid to empower them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
