BIK Hosts Themed Virtual Business Hour Meetings for Members – May 2020

In the month of May, BIK hosted two Virtual Business Meetings.

The first Virtual Business Hour meeting of May 2020 focused on sharing information regarding COVID – 19 in Kenya with Dr. Mercy Mwangangi  – Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) at the Ministry of Health. The session explored measures being implemented to mitigate COVID in the country including the establishment and partnership between multi-sectoral parties. The session allowed for a Q&A session with participants addressing key concerns such as plans for the return to work and safety protocol tips.

The second Virtual Business Meeting of the month was themed around the management and motivation of remote teams with Safaricom PLC and BIK member – Brighter Communities Worldwide. The event, which was held on 19th May, explored the measures these organizations have introduced and implemented to equip staff with tools and strategies that enable productivity during the pandemic.
