Kenya and Ireland at the United Nations Security Council

The United Nations Security Council has primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security. The Official flag installation ceremony hosted at the UN Headquarters in January provided an opportunity to welcome five new non – permanent members including Kenya and Ireland for the 2021 – 2022 term.
