BIK Hosts Nakuru County Government and Business Associations in Stakeholder Forum 24 Jan, 2020

On Friday 24th January, the Business Ireland Kenya committee was in  Nakuru County for a stakeholder engagement forum following the launch of the Nakuru scoping study in 2019.

The meeting focused on enhancing dialogue and fostering partnerships that will allow access to opportunities available for members in Nakuru County as a follow up to the scoping study launched in 2019. Remarks and comments from speakers of the day reflected potential areas for partnership in sectors including agri – tech, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and financial services.

The event was attended by 45 guests including, H.E Hon Lee Kinyanjui – governor of Nakuru County, members of the Nakuru County Government cabinet and representatives from key business associations in Nakuru i.e. Nakuru Business Association (NBA), Kenya National Chamber of Commerce (KNCCI) – Nakuru Chapter and Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) – Nakuru.
